I am an associate professor at the University of Łódź (Poland) –> Faculty of Philology –> Institute of English Studies. Within the Institute I run the Department of Corpus and Computational Linguistics.

I am also a member of the PELCRA Team at the University of Łódź and a senior visiting researcher at the Aston Institute for Forensic Linguistics.

My research interests include general and English linguistics, phraseology, corpus linguistics, computational linguistics and natural language processing, information retrieval and information extraction.

With over 20 years of specialized experience in natural language processing and recent leadership roles in LLM development (PLLuM, HIVE AI), I provide consulting services to organizations implementing both more traditional Natural Language Processing technology and recent generative LLM-based solutions.

I help businesses and academic institutions bridge the gap between NLP research and practical implementation. As a scientific and technical lead, I've guided teams through complex LLM projects from conception, data collection, annotation guidelines, to model pre-training, fine-tuning and continuous domain-aware evaluation.
